id-care research group

Our work explores the design and use of technology within sensitive health contexts. We reimagine health interactions supported by technology, to create person-centred experiences of care that embrace diversity of identities, bodies, and lived realities.

We support researchers working in reproductive health

philosophy & research topics

Our research focuses on technology design for women’s health and sexual and reproductive health. By engaging with patients, health professionals, and the general public, we aim to create meaningful impact on access, provision, and experiences of care.

Our core expertise is in human-computer interaction and interaction design. We collaborate with experts across a range of disciplines, including medicine, psychology, computer science, sociology, and the arts. In addition to being multidisciplinary, our research is guided by a feminist and intersectional perspective.
